I would like to know my chances for: SDSU, UCSD, UCLA, UCI. Any feedback is appreciated, as well as advice. I would also like opinions on going to Mesa and transferring to UCSD.

SDSU is not a UC, but they use a calculation for an Eligibility Index to determine admission see link: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;
For the EI calculate the following: (CSU/UC GPA x200) + (ACT Composite x 10). If you get around a 950+, you have a good chance. EC’s are not heavily considered for the Cal States.

For the UC’s, your SAT/ACT are low and I would consider retaking . For UCLA you would want around at 2100/31. EC’s will definitely be considered in your UC applications and just focusing on academics is not enough. Look into doing some volunteering or community service this summer, so you have something to report.

Going to a CC and then transferring is a good option, since your STATS are low for UCSD. Remember UCSD would like to see some EC’s at your CC before transferring also. Good Luck
