Is the GPA weighted? The SAT is a bit low for Cornell.

People with your scores have gotten in before but have usually done something extraordinary with the ECs. Your activities are good and you should be commended but it literally reads like 90% of all the candidates. I’m in the same boat. Sorry, your SAT and GPA will drag you down into the very high reach category. I hate to say it, but with a record number of ED applications this year (almost 6,000 for about 1,000 spots), you really need to stand out and your SAT alone puts you below 25th percentile. Nothing is a guarantee though. It’s a complete flip of the coin in most cases. I’d say your chances are slim - as are mine. But good luck anyway.
