2.7 GPA, hopefully 2.8 at the end of this semester.
23 on ACT (retaking on February 8, which I know is late. Got 24 math 24 reading 25 english 17 science and 8 writing, I think I can improve my science score and possibly others, especially writing. For now rate my chances as a 23).
Involved in backstage and acting theatre for 2 years (sophomore and junior), with 3 total performing arts credits. Also one play freshman year. No theatre senior year. GSA for 2 years (junior and senior), 1 season of cross country senior year. Did a summer program at Pratt between junior and senior year (2013).
I am applying to Graphic Design, Fine Arts, and Painting programs.

The main reason I am asking this is I think I might not apply to University of British Columbia, as it seems only people with 3.4 and up GPAs get in. I've had trouble finding out admissions information for it. Is it worth even applying with a GPA under 3.0?

I've done admissions research on all of these colleges and looked at graphs, but if anyone attends these universities or has any other way of knowing, please reply to this.

*= portfolio also submitted to school. My portfolio is pretty good and will help my chances.
