Essays:
My quirkiness was definitely evident in most of them. My common app was pretty kickass but a few of the supplements were kinda rushed.

Recs
Teacher 1: probably really great
Teacher 2: I’m guessing it was solid, maybe a little generic?
Counselor: I go to a large public school with understaffed guidance counselors, so she doesn’t really have the time to really get to know students who aren’t struggling with something or in need of help, but we had a pretty good relationship.

Other:
I also sent in an art portfolio that is pretty solid, but i don’t know if it’ll do much bc I put down IR as my intended major for most of my schools.

SCHOOLS (top choice->last resort): Carleton, Grinnell, Pitzer, Pomona, Brown, Oberlin, Wesleyan, Reed, Lawrence University, WashU, University of Richmond

Muchas gracias! :-bd

Wow, we have a few schools in common. I hope this helps.

Carleton: Low reach. I really think you’ll get in, but it’s so selective it’s never going to be better than that. I hope the international thing doesn’t hurt you.
Grinnell: High match.
Pitzer: Match, but their acceptance rate is wild so it’s a toss up.
Pomona: Reach.
Brown: Reach.
Oberlin: Match.
Wesleyan: High match/low reach.
Reed: Match.
WashU: Reach.

I don’t know enough about Lawrence or Richmond to chance.

thanks! anyone else?

I think @starkly is just about right. I might have made Grinnell a match, but it’s debatable.
