Hey everyone! If I could get changed for NYU that would be especially helpful (just got rejected from Cornell, sadly).

Class rank: N/A (School doesn’t report, but if I had to guess, probably top 15%)
Maximized AP classes each year, only tested APUSH (5), AP World (4)

Senior Year Course Load: AP Physics C, Band, AP Calculus AB, Honors Senior Thesis*, AP Statistics, AP Human Geography, AP Literature, AP Comparative Politics

*year long research project, similar to very college senior thesis

Really solid according to my Social Science and English teachers, talking mainly about creativity and leadership through ECs

Hey man, I’m in CAS right now and this sounds impressive. I personally think you have a really good chance of making it, especially since you did all this for early decision. On the other hand, think long and hard after you get that acceptance letter about whether its worth it for you and your family to get in some debt for this. I don’t know your circumstances, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that a very large part of the student body is going into some rough debt for a degree here.
Other than that depressing stuff, as a student from NYU, your story seems to match that of a lot of kids here. Good luck dude, I think you have a really good chance.
