<p>I know there are alot of threads like this, so thanks for looking at my stats. I think I've got a pretty good shot b/c this is my ED. I'm a white male that comes from an extremely competitive NE school.</p>

<p>SAT: Math 690 Reading 640 Writing 690</p>

<p>SAT II: Biology 740 Chemistry 750 Math Ic 730</p>

<p>GPA: 3.7, which is an A-. All APs and honors that my school provides, except for honors english.</p>

<p>12th grade classes with 1st quarter grades are:</p>

<p>AP AB Calculus A-
AP Economics B
AP Spanish B
AP Chemistry B+
English A-
Jazz Ensemble A+
Wind Ensemble A
Varsity Band A+</p>

<p>As for extracurriculars, I was on the Freshman soccer team and then have been on the Varsity swim team for three years. A big plus is that I have been first chair in all of my bands in high school since 9th grade, I have played in Area-All State Band for a couple of Years with have grades as high as 100 on NYSSMA, and I am the president of Music For Life, where we play music for the sick and old. All right, that's about it thanks alot.</p>

<p>You're definitely qualified in terms of your stats. Your ECs sound demanding as well. I think you have a really good shot :)</p>

<p>Oh, I forgot to mention that I have also done mock trial in high school. I really don't think that changes anything though.</p>

<p>I just want to get into NYU really badly. I applied to CAS b/c I'm going to take Pre-Med and I think that my SAT IIs will help a good deal for that. I could always transfer, assuming I get in of course, and after I get the basic pre-med stuff done.</p>
