2 assumptions. 1) youre a junior? 2) you won’t be applying for fin aid?

Anyways, you’re ACT puts you in range for Columbia for sure. Not sure how to interpret your GPA because a 3.7 is relatively low to be honest. However, you have Nebraska and AA status on your side, with pretty cool EC’s and a seemingly rigorous courseload so I would say your chances are pretty decent. Good luck!

I am a junior and I will not be applying for finical aid. My GPA is low due to the competitiveness at my school. Which should be explained clearly in the School Profile attached to my app. Does being from Nebraska help all that much?

Coming from Nebraska is huge! Your experience with sports/leadership will also likely negate your somewhat low GPA, if you are in the Top 10% of your class.

OK. I mean my school does rank, but I am sure my recs can outline the whole eliteness of my school.

ACT:33…

should make an interesting essay!

Yeah it is kinda of a rare angle. I will have to do something with it. Could be a disaster or phenomenal.

you say African american/white for ethnicity. you should definitely put african american on your application
