What is your home state?

For UF:

“Students admitted for the fall 2013 freshman class had an average 4.3 GPA and an average SAT score of 1967.”

UF uses a holistic admission process, 50% is GPA (most important)/Test Scores/Class rigor, the other 50% is ECs/Leadership/Essay.

Your GPA is a bit to low (4.1 is the low side of the middle 50%). Your Test Scores are Ok, as is class rigor. Your EC’s/Leadership look Great. The essay is important, so you do want to spend some time on it.

I would think UF is a low reach/reach (based on your GPA and assuming your OOS). Improving your test scores and a great essay could help overcome your low GPA (as should your ECs/leadership).

Good Luck!
