<p>Just curious… where about in NJ are you from? I, too, was a 4 year marching band kid from a public Jersey high school and very well may have competed against you.</p>
<p>Anyways, Pomona is by no means a “match” for anyone but you certainly have very good grades and an obvious passion for music (which makes for a unique combination with your prospective science major - I’m actually a third year neuro major so if you have any specific questions feel free to shoot me an email)</p>
<p>Get some great recs and write a glowing essay and it looks like you’ve got a good shot!</p>
