Chance me chance me

hi
im 17 year old asian male and ill be applying as an international student.
some of u might notice me from my previous thread,
since then i have thought about where do i really want to apply...

im planning to major in biology/biochemistry
my stats arent that great, but here they are.

GPA: 3.92 unweighted (i dunno wat my weighted gpa is since my schools doesnt offer any ap courses) (my courses are the most rigorous ones offered at my school)

Rank : around top 10%

SAT: took one in may 2007 (R. 590 W. 620 M. 750) 1960
planning to take another one in october and expecting 2100~2200.(ive worked really hard)
possibly ill take another one in december if i dont do as well.

SAT IIs: will take math2c, bio, chem in november(expecting 700~800 on each)

EC: basketball (9,10,11,probably 12)
i know my ec is really weak....lol im deeply regretting it.

awards: i have couple academic awards i received from high school but none from regional or state/provincial competitions

recs/essays: pretty good

so here is the list of schools that im considering to apply. only factor that i really care is the size of colleges. i prefer small~middle sized colleges. other factors do not really matter to me...

1.Haverford college (ED)
2.U of Michigan - ann arbor (although its a big school i just really want to apply here.....lol only exception to my factor)
3.Tufts university
4.Lehigh university
5.Boston college
6.U of Rochester
7.George Washington university
8.Boston university(another exception..lol as a safety?)

so what do u guys think my chance are at these schools?
be harsh as u want.!!!!
and any suggestions would be appreciated..

ouch, those SAT scores and your lack of ECs will hurt quite a bit. I'd say Harvard is setting your goals a bit high, but hey optimism is the key to this process. The two that could be safeties are U.Rochester and BU, but also, that would depend on your curriculum. I don't think you will be penalized for not taking A.P.s but that could have made the difference for some of the other schools. However, don't lose your hope. Not all those colleges are ultra reaches. Your GPA is good enough to make some of the good matches-reach schools. Good Luck with your admissions!

^ he said haverford, NOT harvard

haha yea its haverford..not harvard..^^;;thanks neways
anyone else???
i also woud like to consider vassar and colby..
any opinions?

oh lol nevermind then! haverford still is a bit harder to get into than colby and vassar. I'm applying to colby as well.

do u think i would have a good chance at haverford ED?

hmm...from what I know I'd say Haverford would be a slight reach for you. However, I don't really know enough about the college to make that call. I'm acting solely on its reputation and how I've seen other kids in my class match up.

thanks anyone else?

..bump,.come on....guys
