Also if anyone knows when to expect decisions, please let me know!
Thank you so much for any feed back! I have already been excepted into UNCW and UNCG and App State, so I’m just nervous on waiting on my dream school!

I left out ITS 3 years (VP 11) (pres 12) (This is an honor society for theatre arts)

Strong Stats, but SAT seems low (unless that’s actually in the middle 50% for UNC, then nvm). ED should help tho. Wishing u the best!

So Do you think I have a solid chance at getting in?
I just don’t want to be totally heart broken when I get rejected!

UNC-CH does not have ED applications. It has EA and RD applications.

You may be able to get an idea of where you place relative to recently admitted students by looking at the UNC-CH Common Data Set, here: https://oira.unc.edu/files/2017/07/cds_2016_2017_20170411.pdf. Part C9 of the CDS gives the median 50% for both SAT and ACT scores, as well as the percentage of the entering first-year class falling within certain ranges of SAT and ACT scores; Part C11 gives the percentage of entering first-year students falling within a range of unweighted GPA on a 4.0 scale, and Part C12 gives the average high school GPA of first-year applicants.

U do seem to be in the middle 50%, so it’s def plausible, and that’s disregarding ECs.

SATS seem low. Also why is your class rank bad with a 4.2 gpa. 4.2 out of what? What is your class rank?

My GPA is 4.2 out of a 5.0 scale. My class rank is 35th/ 175. Like I said, my class is extremely competitive. I’ve taken music classes all 4 years so that didn’t help with my GPA

So, UNC is a different kind of college beast. Your scores are low, however, you are In State, which is going to help tremendously. I would say you have a very good chance of getting in due to your in state. Decisions should be released around January 25th-28th, as they were last year.
