chance me: chapman dodge screenwriting

hey! i applied EA to chapman dodge for screenwriting and was wondering what my chances of getting in are.

i have a 3.2 GPA with consistent A’s in english and history and B’s and C’s in math and my ACT was a 26. I worked really hard on my screenwriting creative supplement essay and my common app essay and got really positive feedback and feel confident with what i submitted.

i’ve participated in many artistic extra curriculars with film and musical theater, was a finalist in several national writing competitions, directed two full length stage productions at local theater companies, was chosen to produce a promotional video for my school, and attended california state summer school for the arts (a month long highly selective arts intensive at CalArts) two times: once for creative writing, once for film production. i currently attend a film high school and have good grades over there, especially in english and film (my worst grades in math and science) and received rec letters from my english and film teacher.

i was wondering if anyone could help me gauge my chances of getting into dodge since the decisions should be coming out any time now and i’m incredibly nervous. thanks so much!!!

You’re definitely qualified for Dodge! So many accomplishments, way to flex. I feel like if you have any bets running with your friends about your colleges chances, you’ll definitely owe them, cause you’re getting the heck in beach. CSSA? National Competitions? Directing shows? You’re killing it! Chapman certainly won’t be ~dodging~ you. Kachow

My daughter got into Dodge two years ago for screenwriting, and you guys have similar stats, so I think you have a very good chance!
