<p>Hi guys, I'm a male Asian(Chinese) student from a pretty good public school in MA, Carnegie Mellon is my dream school so I'm going to apply for ED I! Please chance me! and thank you in advance (:</p>

<p>A active member on the school math team since freshmen year. Joined the school iGemm team junior year (joined for one year because it was formed this year).
I have volunteered at a local hospital for 3 years now as well as a children's museum for one summer.</p>

<p>I disagree that Monkey8 has extremely low chances. CMU is a great school, but it isn’t egregiously selective. Based on his test scores, and especially his subject tests (really impressive scores, good job!) my guess is that Monkey8 has a low class ranking because he attends a competitive high school. I don’t know what classes your school offered, but you don’t have too many APs early on in high school. This year though should make up for that. I think you sound like a really good candidate and have a good chance, especially if you apply ED.</p>

<p>Well unless kids from his high school have been accepted to Carnegie mellon with that GPA or close to it in the past, he’s going to have a hard time getting in.</p>
