<p>I didn’t read anything but the schools to which you’re applying, and I can tell you that you have slim chances. It’s not anything about your application that makes you have a slim chance, that’s just the way it is. There is a point at which you are qualified, and beyond that it really comes down to luck. Not to say you shouldn’t apply to those schools, because people do get lucky sometimes (I did).</p>

<p>You have great chances at both Cal and LA (although if you are applying for engineering at Cal, it will be extremely tough). Your scores are good to go and your ECs are good. While the UCs seem to be implementing more of a “holistic” approach as the years go by, you’re still in good shape. Unfortunately, there’s still no guarantee, as many incredibly qualified applicants are still turned away each year.</p>
