Chance Me? College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (ED)

Hi all! I'm actually new to cc, but love the support and excellent advice I've encountered so far! I'm a senior in hs and am applying as a chemical engineer major. I don't know if this is the right place for this, but would really appreciate it if I could get feedback on my chances? Thanks in addition!

Thank you so much for your time!

You’re competitive. Check Naviance to get a sense of the stats of students who’ve applied to Penn in the past 2-3 years.

Bump

I am a parent not an admissions rep so this is just my opinion – i think you have a very good chance. My D applied RD engineering at the first 5 schools you listed and was accepted at all except Stanford. She had the same ACT score as you, 4.0 GPA, NMSF, but she was not as strong as you in math and science ECs. Good luck!

I don’t do chances but I’m pretty sure you don’t meant quadrille. If you mean you’re only in the top quartile, that’s a problem, but I’m guessing you are much higher than top quartile.

I think you have a very good chance to all of these colleges except Stanford.

I think you have a very good chance at Penn if you apply ED, but I am not sure about regular because the admission rate is incredibly low to SEAS for regular admission.

Thanks for the feedback, all!
