Your lab research seems really interesting and focused. I’d say:
Columbia: Accept/Waitlist
Cornell: Accept
JHU: Accept/Waitlist
Georgetown: Accept/Waitlist
Rice: Accept
Claremont Mckenna: Waitlist
Berkeley: Waitlist (OOS?)
UCLA: Accept
Overall, I can see you getting accepted to any/all of these. Good luck! Chance me back?
woops, I applied to the College of Letters and Science for Berkeley
Research is interesting, have you published any papers? Science Fairs? Competitions? I’ve also heard mixed feelings about TEAMS (Some people at our school consider it a joke, poorly organized, some people BS/cheat/do nothing in their team and still place nationally). Maybe adcoms don’t know about this, which would work in your favor.
I was not able to be published as all the projects I worked on were rather large longitudinal studies, thus, I was also not able to submit them to any science fairs. There is some truth to what you have said about TEAMS but I was hoping that given the high rankings my team achieved it would count for something. Thanks for the response anyways! @AznDude525
I am 100% sure it will count for something (I am not saying your team was anything what I have described, I just know based off my school and other nearby schools and the shady stuff they have done), I’m just not sure the scale of the achievement to adcoms. It is national achievement so it definitely will be a big plus to your application. Good luck!
