Your stats look fine. However your ECs are fairly cookie cutter Asian. What will do you to stand out?

@sgopal2 I’m hoping my cluster of business ECs with international awards, professional research, and leadership will separate me from the pack, especially since these ECs have to do with either government or marketing (2 rarer fields of interest for Asian prospective students). To clarify, I made a mistake while editing. I was a semifinalist in a regional conference for my economics/government research above, my mistake

Also hoping my tech support volunteering program helps convey my passion for helping people, which should help me convey my interest in economics public policy

Yes, I agree the piano is a little typical…that was mostly for my own enjoyment and the awards came as a bonus. Will emphasize this since it was a big part of my life, but definitely not my only (or main) selling point

I think you’ll get in! Obviously have other schools to apply to but I definitely think you have a good chance! Your ECs are amazing and not cookie cutter! :slight_smile:
