If you really want a chance back, link me and I'll try, but I really only know about schools in the DC area... xD Thanks for reading and chancing me.

ECs:
- Student Manager at a regional tutoring company (three years)<= I train new tutors as well as tutor kids in math and Japanese
- JV Volleyball Captain, second year playing (I didn't play my freshman year, so I decided to become the team manager... but I hope this explains why I only just got picked to play with varsity at the end of the season)
- Maryland Youth and Government delegate, second year
- Internship in lab at UMCP, worked with microfluidics (2009)
- Student Director of yearly magnet art performance/show night (several hundred attendees, I would estimate)

I do a lot of volunteer work for the magnet program as far as giving tours and helping out with meetings and such. I also volunteered on some campaigns in 2008 in between 8th grade and freshman year.

Other stuff:
- Adopted from China, two moms now separated <= more of a sort-of unique essay hook, I guess
- Taking internship this summer probably either at Columbia's ISERP (if I'm accepted) or at GWU with their public policy department
- Looking to major in urban studies or economics

Strengths: GPA, probably good recs, well rounded as far as balancing math/science and humanities
Weaknesses: ECs, SAT II score(?), lack of interest in higher level sciences (no science APs or SAT IIs)

I consider Columbia reach-ish, Georgetown match-ish, and GWU... somewhere floating in between a safety and a match. Eek!
