Chance me: Columbia U?

I'm a CC student in Florida right now. My high school GPA was about a 2.0 unweighted (bad, I know.)

Currently, I'm in my college's honors program with a 3.8 GPA. I'm in the honors club, where I'm a board member, and a committee member. I'm Editor-in-Chief of the school paper and President of the media club. I'm also a member of SGA. Outside of school, I am a big sister with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. This summer I'll be doing an internship with a newspaper in Florida. I also just received an academic excellence award for journalism. I was also nominated as one of the Who's Who scholars (68 were chosen from my school out of 48,000.) I'm a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
My recommendations are really good.

The only thing is that my SAT scores are less than par. I took them in HS and never even studied because I didn't care. I'm retaking them in May. What score do I need?

Can I get into Columbia?

Most likely not to be honest, since they’ll still see a low GPA in HS and with thousands of applicants with better stats, it’s not going to help. I suggest doing 2 years of CC, going to a good state school, and then go to an ivy for grad school (which is much more realistic and feasible).
