<p>I have loved Hamilton ever since I visited in 10th grade, and I am seriously considering applying early. If one could chance me, that would be great. Also, if anyone is a current student there now and could answer some questions, that would be awesome. PM me</p>

GPA W: 4.46 (my school has high inflation)

SAT: 2150= 780 writing, 720 reading, 650 Math
SAT 2: 690 Chem, going to take English, spanish, and Math 1 in october
AP Exam(s): AP US history: 4. AP Chem: 4 AP English lang: 4</p>

I have expressed a ton of interest in Hamilton: had a great interview, went to junior preview day, and have an overnight scheduled.
I have already completed my Common App essay, and it is a totally unusual topic and I did it very well. My hamilton essay I think will be great too</p>

<p>I see absolutely no reason that you won’t get in here. :slight_smile: Your writing/CR scores look good especially, and as you probably know, Hamilton is big on writing.</p>

<p>But then again, I’m no admissions officer. But your resume looks more impressive than mine, IMO, and I got into Hamilton.</p>

<p>Yeah, stats wise, you look good. Your test scores are great, as is your GPA. EC wise, nothing really stands out. 25 hours of volunteer work is essentially negligible for competitive admissions. Your essay is going to need to really set you apart from the rest. You need to prove you are different from all the other hundreds of kids from NY/NJ, cause there really are a lot.</p>

<p>ED you should be pretty good, but the applicant pool is getting alrger here every year, and its only getting harder to get in. Try to find something you’ve done that no one else has. For me, it was competitive rock climbing and web design for a robotics team.</p>

<p>Just remember that if it doesn’t work out there are lots of other great choices out there. Make sure you have a backup plan!</p>

<p>Yeah there are a lot of great other LACs on my list: Colby bowdoin bates trinity middlebury Williams and lafayette! But I love Hamilton and want to go there the most. It’s absolutely perfect for me. I hope I get in!</p>
