***I either want to do English or Math. I like both equally, so I might just do whichever gets me into a better school. Which is better? Should I apply undecided, or does that look bad?
Also, would it be better or worse if I didn’t include my race?

If you are Asian, don’t bother putting down your race(however they might recognize if you are Asian by your name)

I believe you have an amazing chance at all of your schools. Duke might be a reach.

^^ she explicitly stated white female.

Weighted GPA is good but what is UW? “I believe you have an amazing chance” is VERY misleading. Do not listen to them. I hate to be brutal but no one has an amazing chance… Vassar is your most likely. And yes, Duke is your least likely.

Include your race.

You seem qualified for these schools, just try to perfect your writing. Your chance is probably = to the acceptance rates of these schools… so yes, 10% for Duke.

I don’t think it will matter if you put english or math if you’re equally strong at both.

Based on your history, GU’s School of Foreign Service may be the way to go. I disagree that Duke is least likely. Dartmouth is least likely unless you are legacy or have a hook.

Preppedparent, Dartmouth and Duke are pretty much the same acceptance rate- both are least likely.

And GU SFS is about the same as either Dartmouth or Duke

it’s higher, around 17%

Thank you for the advice! My unweighted is 3.89

Thanks for your help! I don’t have a legacy. Neither of my parents went to college. My dad is self employed and the first person in my family to attend college was my brother. He is currently attending Juilliard. I’m not sure if any of this matters other than the fact that I don’t have a legacy.
