General Comments:

Applying to College of Arts and Sciences

How come you have a 3.9 GPA but are in top 25% of class? That does not add up.
Its a reach because of you class rank. Try to push ACT to 33 or above

Your ACT score is little low for Cornell.

@BusinessInsider‌ my school doesn’t rank but that was just a guess. We have a class of only 110 and many each year go to ivys and other such schools

@studyhard1 Alright that makes much more sense. 110 is a really small class size. You should have a better chance. Try to improve ACT a little bit.

For your income bracket, Cornell will be a reach. Typically higher test scores are expected for higher income applicants

bump

reach tbh. GPA is REALLY good. ACT and SAT scores are decent, but we are talking about cornell here dude… rigor is kind of lacking in coursework. you seem to be very involved at school and passionate about athletics, but I don’t see much deep involvement…like leadership or honors/awards. the little kids camp thing is nice, hope you promoted that in your app. Overall I’d say if your essays and recs were really good you would have a decent chance. but if they were just your average cliche like in essays “I worked hard and became JV captain” or in recs “(insert name) is an excellent student who consistently puts in effort and excels”

*If I’m savage I’m really sorry…but it’s not personal. I do it to everyone haha.
