Chance Me!! Cornell ILR Transfer!

Applying for junior standing in fall of 2011.

College Stats:
GPA-3.78 Community College
ECs- Phi Theta Kappa, Full Time Management position in retail, Starting my own organic coffee roasting company, Guitar Teacher.
Hook- I'm awesome. Jk!
Recs- Excellent

High School Stats:
GPA- 2.7 (why I waited to apply for junior standing)
SAT- Never took, don't need them for ILR.
ECs- Varsity Football, Track, Wrestling. Choir, Jazz Band.

My essays are pretty good, I've had several professors read over them and all gave me positive feedback.

College courses have pretty much all been ILR relevant. Micro and Macro eco, History, Sociology, Psychology, Human Resources Management, Algebra, Stat, etc... Only thing I think that will hurt me is I have two withdraws spaced 2 semesters apart, which were both results of a scheduling conflict with my job, which I need to pay rent, bills, etc... (will mention in app) Retook the first "W" and got an A, retaking second "W" in the summer semester, will most likely get an A, as that is what I had prior to withdrawing.

How are my chances looking?!??!

bumppppiiiinnn this thread

bumppppppp

good luck to you! i just submitted my application like yesterday…still have to send in my mid term report though

Hmm, your stats are similar to mine. Except my HS gpa was 3.5+. Good luck! I hope Cornell does the guarantee transfer.
