<p>If the 4.0 is a UC GPA, you have pretty much average stats for the mid tier (I, SB and D) UCs. Those schools have average GPAs of 4.0 and SAT average is about 1880.</p>

<p>The top UCs, these days are looking for 4.2/2050, slightly lower for SD.</p>

<p>NYU and USC have average SATs closer to 2100, so you need some safeties!</p>

<p>ur act is good maybe a point or 2 higher would help. And ur gpa is a about .2 low like the person said above. But u have a chance but definitely have some safeties. Maybe cal polys</p>

The 30 is from an attempt I took with no preparation or knowing anything about the ACT’s formats/questions .
So im thinking seeing it a second time, knowing how to approach the test just might make the difference

UCSD - low reach</p>

<p>But like everyone else said raising the ACT could help a lot.</p>
