I know by heart how French grades are transfered to US-type GPA at Columbia, don’t worry they are easily transferable. It’s a little early to chance you for the moment as you haven’t effectively taken the SAT or the TOEFL (bear in mind that the SAT is muuuuuch more important than the TOEFL as the level is higher).
