Chance me, darlin's!

I'm applying to a lot of schools, but here, I'm primarily asking for
Emory
Tulane
Davidson
University of Virginia
Furman
& Hillsdale

Essays
I'm an okay writer, though I fear that some of my essays sound a tad pretentious. Overall, I don't think they'll hurt me, but I'm not sure if they'll help me, either.

Senior Schedule
AP Biology
AP Statistics
AP Human Geography
German 3 H
Physics H

Apart from Calculus, I will have taken every AP course my school has to offer - if I can say one positive thing for myself, it's that I have taken the most rigorous schedule offered to me.

What are my chances? Chances with scholarship?

Emory match
Tulane match
Davidson low match
Hillsdale low match
UVA low match
Fur man match

That sounds lovely! Better a low match than nothing.
Any other opinions?

low match is better than match :)

I would mostly second the other posters response, save for UVA. If you are instate, then it is a match, but don’t be so confident if you are OOS. Don’t be pessimistic, obviously, but just be prepared.

I never had very high hopes for UVA; I visited there before and found out about their out-of-state acceptance rates. There’s no harm in trying, I suppose. :)

I have a few safeties lined up, and Emory / Furman are my top schools anyway, so I’m pleased.
