Hey @cput45 you are clearly academically qualified (as are 60% of applicants), and have a spike of achievements in your field of interest, which is good.
You’ve also done interesting things in other fields, which is also a good fit for a liberal arts curriculum.
Now the most important thing to look at would be to ask yourself, Why Dartmouth? That is, you need to figure out why Dartmouth specifically draws you. They’ll want to see that in the supplement essays and interviews. Get your reasons together for that purpose.
When you’re thinking about this, do keep one thing in mind; if you could replace Dartmouth’s name with Princeton or Williams, then it’s not really a good reason, or at the very least not what you’d want to highlight in your application.
My first thought was that you would be a great match for Notre Dame.
I think that you should be a very strong candidate for admission to Dartmouth College. Without standardized test scores, recommendations may take on added importance in the admissions process.
@Publisher Thank you. I’ve been set on Dartmouth since I visited, but I will keep that in mind. And, yes, I’m hopeful my recommendations are 10/10.
@oscar63 Most schools are not requiring the ACT or SAT. Where I live, schools closed on March 13th, and test centers canceled the SAT scheduled for the next day.
