I believe the reason I got deferred was a below average junior year. I got a C+ in math 1 semester and a C+ in Spanish the next.
My first semester senior year was much better (3.5 UW and 3.85 weighted with Bs B+s A-s and flat As.
In my junior year a I diagnosed with general anxiety disorder. I’ve always suffered from anxiety but it got terrible in my junior year. The combination of trips to my psychiatrist, testing medication, and applying to colleges made my anxiety so crippling that my grades suffered. I learned to work around my anxiety, and I have found medication that has made it manageable without making me feel “off” in any way.
I am visiting from California 1 more time and I am trying to set up a meeting with the admissions rep for Southern California. I feel like Lehigh is the place for me and I want to illustrate that to the admissions team.
