I was diagnosed with ADHD- Combined Type at the beginning of this month and since then I have been taking medication daily (Vyvanse). Ever since I have been on medication school feels shorter and I don't have any difficulty with my classes, I used to not be able to pay attention in class while excessively fidgeting and talking to classmates during lectures.

Currently I am in 11th grade with a weighted GPA of 4.2 with an unweighted GPA of 3.4. I have turned in some assignments and took a few tests so I am not sure what the end of the semester grade is going to be, I feel very confident that I will stay at my current grade at the minimum. I am taking a college course that covers both Calculus I and II in the same year, my school offers college courses that consist of Calc 1/2 and Linear Algebra/DiscreteMath as it doesn't have a good AP math program (There is only one AP Calculus AB and AP Statistics course, no AP Calculus BC). The college courses don't factor into my high school GPA..

I know I am not the strongest student and that the UCs will most likely hold me to a lesser regard in relation to other students, so I do not mind blunt comments that deliver any reality that I do not see. I would like to know if the UCs will have a more lenient view of me as a result of my ADHD and the fact that I will have all of the math requirements for my major fulfilled by the time I get out of high school, I'm taking linear algebra and discrete math next year. I'm East Asian (vietnamese) and I live in San Diego.
