<p>I'm really on the edge about getting into gwu, but I've heard that GWU looks at your GPA and the classes you took in high school over your SAT scores. Is this true? I'm still in the application process for GWU. But i need to know....am I wasting my time? Anyways here's my stats.</p>
<p>Intended major: Political Science w/ a minor in applied Mathematics
GPA:3.8 (out of 4.0)
SAT: 1720 CR 540 M 600 W 580
AP's: US history, environmental science, micro¯o economics, European history, lit (my school offers a very limited amount of courses in the science/math/foreign lang departments)
Community College courses: Biology, Political Science, Statistics</p>

Also did a summer internship for our congress womans re-election campaign. </p>
<p>Haven't finished my essays, but they'll be modified versions of the essay I wrote for the UC app, which has already been praised by an admissions counselor in UCSB. I did an interview with someone from the GW admissions and it went really well. </p>
<p>I'm also applying to Boston University, Syracuse, USC, UCLA, UC Berkley, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, UC Irvine.</p>
<p>PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! I want know if I have some chance, or if i'm wasting my time and money.</p>
