<p>I don't usually do these chance things, but I want to know whether these schools are safeties or matches. </p>
<p>Chapman University
Loyola Marymount University</p>
<p>note that i am applyign to chapman for screenwriting major (felt too lazy to do film production supplemental haha)
and i am applying to film production for loyola marymount university.</p>
<p>here are my crappy stats (well, i wish they were higher)</p>
<p>GPA: 3.3 UW; 3.5 W (there is a reason for a GPA drop; however i have mentioned it in 2-3 lines in my essays and hopefully mi guidance counselor will mention it as well.)
total AP/honors: 7; will have a total of 3 courses taken for credit at a comm college under my belt.
-my high school is 59th best in the nation; very competitive and always high achieving... 3rd best in CA maybe? i forgot.
SAT: 1790 from OCT. i took in DEC as well. writing score should be much higher, at least. (do they superscore?)
ACT: score pending.
sat ii: chinese 730; bio-E 630 (altho i dont think they require it)
-chiense 5 ap-5; bio ap-4; ush-4
-essays are very very creative and awesome.
-recommendations great as well. </p>
<p>EC's: (and please excuse the crappy-ness of my EC's haha)
-currently Vice President of Fashion Club (been in this club for three years)
-piano for 8 years
-speech and debate 1 year (moved from novice to varsity competitor after one tournament.... too bad id idnt stay in this club)
-peer conflict resoultion 2 years
-broadcast media club set/costume/makeup director
-worked a job for five months
-chinese school from kindergarten to 10th grade
-community service hours suck. a little under 100 hours; i think.
-and a ton of other miscellaneious stuff. but those are main ones i will add for sure. </p>
<p>Awards:
-AP scholar award
-1st place most origianl film award
-2 awards of creative excellence for film
-speech and debate 7th place finalist award</p>
<p>i can't remember anything else at the moment. yeah my EC's suck but whatever haha. </p>
<p>also, chance me for NYU and USC; both for film school. i have a feeling they will be high reaches for me, but just tell me the truth hahaha.
and chance me for UCD, UCSB, UCSD, UCI, UCSC. </p>
