Chance Me! Duke ED 2025

Hello!

Good day everyone! I’m planning to apply to Duke University Pratt ED

Here are my profile:

Asian-American male, living in Midwest

ACT: 34 (34 Math, 35 English, 34 Science, 33 or 34 Reading)
SAT: 1520 (800 Math, 720 English/Reading) (Should I just not submit a score?)

GPA: 4.0 UW

Taken: AP World History (4), AP Chem (4), AP US History (4), AP English (5), AP Biology (5), AP US Government (4), AP Statistics (5)

Taking or will be taking: AP Physics, AP Psychology, AP Calc BC, AP English Literature

ECs: Internship at the Military (Programmed a virtual reality ultrasound training simulation for military doctors with two other high schoolers)
President of student medical club (Founded the club Junior Year)
Leader Researcher for coronavirus website (Peak 10,000 users. Under construction currently)
Lead Organizer of a charity event (nationally recognized orchestra that raises money for a chosen charity each year)
1st chair of school orchestra (cello and viola)
Regional Youth Orchestra: 1st chair, played since freshman year(highest orchestra of 3 youth orchestras)
State Regional Orchestra Junior year
Volunteered at Church, with cello since 8th grade
National Federation of Music Clubs (Will be at last level during senior year, there are 18 total levels)
JV, Varsity Tennis (Freshman-Senior year)
One of school’s entrepreneurship scholarship winners since sophomore year

Awards:

2nd place at local University math competition
National Spanish Exam Bronze and Honorable Mention (Freshman-Junior Year)
Regional Music Club Piano Scholarship winner since 7th grade
National Federation of Music Clubs (Unanimous Superior every year)
One of school’s entrepreneurship scholarship winners since sophomore year

I am a national merit commended as well, but should I replace that with one of the awards, as there are only 5 spots? Didn’t really think commended is a good award when competing at a T15 School

I’ve decided on Duke as of now and I know that they require 1st quarter grades of Senior Year, where I might end up with a B+ in Calculus, but I’m trying my hardest to get it up as well.

Finally, might be submitting a music supplement, but need advice on that as well. How much does it help your application, assuming that you do well in it?

Thank you so much and have a great rest of your day/night!

you have a solid chance if you apply ED
