I’d consider you a strong candidate.

And as for your low bio SAT II score… Just don’t send it in. I took 4 SAT II exams but only sent in my two strongest ones. If I were you I’d send in the two 800s and just leave the other two out of the equation (unless you get a better score on the retake of chemistry).

Anyway, very good stats and a very good resume. I think you’re a shoe-in.

IS or OOS?

I’d worry that they’d think you aren’t well rounded enough

"… you aren’t well rounded enough"

EC activities are very low on the criteria for acceptance to UM. The GPA, SAT, and AP scores (so far) qive INJECT sophomore status without even attending a single class. My kid (American-Asian), now a second year engineering major (junior status because of his HS AP scores), received his acceptance notification two weeks after the submission of his application. He had significantly fewer EC activities. Although nothing is certain in life, it would be a real shock if INJECT wasn’t accepted to UM

I understand the order of importance they place on things, I’m just saying there will be lot of kids applying with stellar grades AND more ECs.

I think he has a good chancevpf getting in, I just wouldn’t call it a lock

Agree with PeterW. It would be a real shock if INJECT wasn’t accepted to U-M. If he is worried about the SAT II score in bio, I would just not send the SAT II in. They do not ask to see them.

You’ll be fine. Nobody cares what your extracurrics are with grades, test scores, and a class schedule like that.

Yeah, don’t listen to them. Just focus on your essay and you will be fine. Good Luck! (:
