<p>so I'm really starting to get nervous..tell me what you guys think!</p>

<p>female
sats: 1570/2400 (i know..it's really bad...I'm not a standardized test taker)
gpa: 3.77 weighted<br>
major: music industry </p>

<p>EC: national honors society, student gov't (secretary), teens against cancer(officer), french honor society vp, varsity swim team (4 years, captian)
extras/awards: Girl Scout Gold Award (equal to eagle scout) & Silver Award , Girl State Delegate
Classes: Always took Honors, taking a SUPA Forensic's class (syracuse university project advance class), AP french
Work: swim coach/lifeguard (15 hours a week)</p>

<p>really good recommendation from guidance counselor/ english teacher/ french teacher</p>

<p>If it wasn’t for your SAT score, I’d be suprised if you didn’t get it. But that SAT is quite low (below the bottom 25% I believe) and I think it will depend on how holisticly the AdCom looks at your application.</p>

<p>Having said that, there must be students with scores below the 25th percentile otherwise it wouldn’t be that way!</p>

<p>i hope you have a good shot cause i’m kinda in the same situation as you, except my test scores are fine and my gpa is low. and i know they look more at gpa…but i want music industry too!</p>

<p>off topic, what kind of music do you like :slight_smile: lets make this college talk a little less stressful</p>

<p>alternative pop/rock (all time low, paramore, the summer set, every avenue …etc) and im a huge taylor swift fan =] but the only thing i really dislike is rap. how about you?</p>

<p>i’d say yes but your SAT scores might keep you from getting in…have you considered ACTs?</p>

<p>Actually I took the ACTS and they lost my scores!!..and my guidance counselor told me not to explain that and use the pity card. =[</p>

<p>omg if we both get into northeastern and we both go, we’re being friends. deal? haha. all time low, the maine, the summer set, anarbor, a rocket to the moon, the downtown fiction, etc. all those bands and more. AND i saw tayswift live this summer and she was amazing.</p>
