I feel that my GPA is low for Uchicago but im not sure about chapel hill.

So chance me?

Ill chance back!!

“Got in trouble and hung around with the wrong crowd (if anyone knows what I mean)” BOW BOW BRICK SQUAD. lmao okay so basically ur grades hurt and none of your ECs are all four years (ouch). i don’t live in NC so idk how they do it in chapel hill but i’m sure you have a decent shot there. your gpa isn’t AWFUL, like it doesn’t make me cry, and your ACT is fantastic so who knows? good SAT subject test as well. i’m gonna say low reach for uchicago.

yeah, I should take the top paragraph out. I cant really use that as an excuse for messing up.

Thanks for chancing me

@sgtdonut. I was in TSA for 9th as well ( no position though). And the Econ club in 10th ( it got cancelled after that year so I decided to start it again)

You have great stats and you’re in-state. You’re in at UNC for sure.

Since your in-state, I don’t think you’ll have a problem at all, and schools definitely like upward trends!

Your test scores are awesome, unweighted GPA is a bit low. I think you have a good shot at UNC but Chicago may be a reach. Just curious, could you show how a 3.64 gpa can turn into a 4.833 weighted? My situation is VERY similar to your’s. 3 B’s and 1 C total freshmen year, 5 B’s total sophomore year, straight A’s junior year with 6 weighted classes. My weighted GPA only comes up to like 4.08 though. Anyways, please get back to me on that.

Chance me back? Thanks!

@cali I took a bunch of Ap classes which boosted my class rank and weighted gpa. We only have 8 class periods a year (4 each semester). In addition, I took online AP’s offered through my school.

Also, your school might use a different weighted scale which may also explain the weighted gpa difference.

145/30 = 4.8333

I took 6 extra classes.

anyone else?

in-state you’re in. My UW and W GPA are lower than yours and I think I have a great shot of still getting in to UNC. (messed up freshman and soph years but turned it around junior year)
