I'm fairly confident my essay and rec letters are good.

And on the site it asked that the supplements section and common app be submitted simultaneously. I submitted the supplements a couple weeks before I submitted the common app. Do you think the admissions people will care?

Your math score on the SAT is low for the major you are apply for. You would increase your chances greatly by increasing your math score. That’s the only problem I see that could cause a rejection. You should apply anyway and try to improve your SAT score. If you don’t get into EA, then you could still get into the regular admission if you ace the math portion of the SAT.

I am concerned that your SAT score is low. My D applied last year. The numbers I remember were the mean SAT score was 1950 for the class before hers, for her class I think it went up to 1980. I’m afraid your 1860 is on the low end of acceptance right now. Your grades are good, but even there- if I remember, they only give a weighted GPA and it was 3.7-4.0 and the freshman class this year moved that higher. Who knows what will happen this year. Your best bet is definately go EA, but they may very well defer you… who know again. She was accepted EA with a weighted GPA of around 4.2 and a SAT of 1950. ie- her SAT was “average”. Good luck to you. It is an amazing school. She is very happy and loves Boston.

There’s not much else I can do right now except wait. Do you think being a first generation American (both of my parents are from Russia) and speaking Russian fluently will help me out much with admissions?

If you are applying for an international affairs or international business program, then Russian will be a big help, but probably less so for CCIS. However, it won’t hurt either.
