<p>Really nervous for Wednesday but I just wanted some input and idea of my chances because right now I'm really uncertain. I applied to UPENN- CAS
Objective:</p>

<p>SAT I (breakdown):1910 (M: 710, W: 570, CR: 630)
NOTE: This score is from a single sitting. I have taken it twice.
1st SAT: M- 670 W-560 CR- 630
SAT II:
Not taken due to Sandy, I called admissions and they said that they will evaluate candidates who have not taken the SAT 2s without these scores.
Unweighted GPA: 3.54 (private school and very rigorous (all advanced classes) curriculum)
Weighted GPA: my school does not weigh my GPA
Rank: Too small of a school to rank (60 per grade)
AP Tests:
Spanish Literature, AP US history, AP Calculus (not submitting scores) </p>

Extracurriculars throughout the year:
Tri season athlete:
Ran XC for 4 years- captain of championship team senior year.
Ran indoor and outdoor track for 4 years.
Soup kitchen volunteer (4 yrs)
Volunteered at middle school (4 yrs)
Admissions committee (3 yrs)
Peer leader (2 yrs)- Helps freshman in the high school and meets with them once a week for an hour
A part of a program similar to prep for prep in NYC that advocates on my behalf (i am uncomfortable disclosing which one) (6 yrs)</p>

Personal Statement:On Running and my summer internship (connecting the two, very creative)

Counselor Rec: Extremely good, she told me I was the first recommendation she wrote.
Additional Rec: from my internship at Rockefeller university (written by the president of the university) </p>

<p>Your GPA is a bit on the low side (but your class rigor is good, which is a plus), but your ECs are great! That science internship sounds interesting! The fact that you’re a first ten and Hispanic gives you a pretty big boost too, along with the great teacher/counselor recommendations. I’d say you have a moderate to good shot. Plus you applied Early Decision, which gives you at least a slight one-up in the process. I wish you luck!!</p>

<p>Academically, you are without a doubt under Penn’s standards. You have to prove you can offer something different and unique to Penn. if you think you did that, you have a shot. Good luck!</p>
