Do I seem like a strong candidate, a 50/50 candidate, or a reach candidate?

Bump…Anybody???

4.0 GPA
36 ACT
1590 SAT

Metrics aren’t everything but you want advice on your chances? Congrats on your achievements but — Really?

Yeah, I’m sorry, I just don’t think you’re a strong candidate. [irony]

You have a strong background and Dartmouth likes musicians! Good luck.

You seem like a strong candidate- depending on how good you are at pole vault give the track coach a heads-up and maybe he’ll try to give you a push with admissions too

Did you get into Dartmouth?

I applied this year. So I won’t know until December 15th.

Where is the idea coming from that the OP has a 4.0? He/she has a 4.14 weighted. At my school, with a level of course rigor comparable to the OP’s, this would translate to around a 3.5-3.6.

I am not sure my exact unweighted GPA but it’s around a high 3.8 or low 3.9

Good luck! You seem like a strong candidate.
