anyone? hahah please + thank you!

Females engineers have higher acceptance rate at Cornel. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the female qualifications/stats are lower. They are just very self-selective. You may go to decision thread to see the credential of admitted students.

Post #5 and #13 plus others

You have a good chance and should apply. But don’t hold your hope too high because all top schools are reaches for all prospective students, they are un-predictable. One example is my daughter who was waitlisted RD, encouraged transfer, and finally transferred her sophomore year. Her stats is: 4.75W(4.0 unweighted) GPA, 34 ACT, 790 SATII Math, 750 SATII Science (chem or physics), rank 1/435, with great ECs, strong leaderships, great recommendations. The problem was her essay, I guess. So, you need to write an excellent essay.

Don’t apply ED with those stats, haha. Your leadership ECs are pretty beast and your SAT superscore is really high. You should try SCEA for another Ivy, apply to Cornell RD, because you’ll def get in with the legacy.

Hmm, interesting. I’ve never considered any other Ivy schools before (mainly because of my gpa hahah). Thank you both for your help!
