Thanks for the quick response! I had an 1890 on my sat and just got back my scores today and honestly have no idea how the hell I got a 2300, but hey I’ll take it.

I’m kind of in the same boat as you! 770 CR, 710 M, 710 W, with a 3.75 gpa. I think that if you know you’ll be able to afford it, without depending on financial aid, you should apply, without a doubt. (hahah it doesn’t answer your question yet)
Northwestern is an amazing school, and yeah, it’s prestigious, but NU doesn’t just want to only have people with a 4.5 and 2400 on the sat. I’ll agree that a 3.7 is a little low for them, but if you took/are taking ap or ib classes, that should help! ED is definitely your best shot, without every aspect of your app being outstanding, and since the acceptance rate is over 30% better than in RD, it can’t hurt!
Good luck I’m curious to see what happens, let us know!! Hopefully we’ll both be in Evanston next fall

I go to a private college prep school, and will have taken 6 APs by the time I graduate. Our course work is definitely rigorous. I am not too worried about it. I think I will get in. 4 out of 4 kids that have ever applied ED from my school have all gotten in. I have the same average gpa, and my SAT score is way better than theirs. My essays are very solid too. Feeling confident, but hopefully it all works out. Hope to see you there!

^ That is good. However, having 6 AP by graduation does not tell how many AP in junior and before that were counted in the GPA. If you have only a couple AP classes in junior and before, that is not very rigorous. Nevertheless, each school’s grading scale is different. So the GPA alone means nothing. It is fair enough if yours is comparable to former students from your school with similar course load that have been accepted by NU. How does your EC compare with the former students? It seems to be a little bit weak to me. Did you take any SAT2? Some programs recommend or require 2 SAT2 at NU. See below:

applicants to Integrated Science Program; Math Level 2 and Chemistry required of applicants to Honors Program in Medical Education; two recommended for all other applicants]
