Chance me! ED UPENN (Wharton) 2024

Hi! I would like to know my chance of getting into UPenn (Wharton) via ED as a first-generation Asian female – private high school in california

GPA: 4.11(UW) / 4.42 (Weighted)
SAT: 770(math) 700 (reading and writing) ) – just took the October one, hoping for a 1500+

APs: (Our school doesn’t usually offer APs to freshmen and sophomores, so below are the AP classes for my junior and senior year . )

Junior year:

  • AP Macroeconomics (4 + A), AP Microeconomics (4 + A), AP Chemistry (4 & A), AP
    Statistics (4 & A+)

Senior year:

  • AP Calculus BC, AP English and Language Composition, AP Environmental Science, AP Psychology, AP Computer Science A

Honor classes: (note: honor classes are not offered to freshmen at my school, so starting from sophomore year; A+ = 97.5+ / A = 92.5–97.49 / A- = 90–92.49

Sophomore year:
World History honors (A+), Algebra 2 honors (high A), Chemistry honors (A+), Latin 3 honors (A)

Junior year:
Pre-calc honors (high A), US history honors (A+), Physics honors (A+)

Senior year:
The five APs.

There are a lotta ppl from my school with higher stats than you that are looking to ed to upenn, so idk.

I’m afraid to say that most of your stats are in the average range, where is quite competitive in the application pool. And I strongly suggest improving your scores on the Math II subject test and write a good essay that will distinguish you from other applicants.

I think you have a good chance if your essays are great but a lot of people in your demographic (asian and female) have very very similar applications as you. I would suggest doing something very different in order to stand out <3
