my gpa is 3.82/4.0 and i think it’s weighted (10points on ap classes only)
and my school send some grads to good school like emory, nyu, georgetown, vanderbilt, etc and sometimes ivyleagues but it’s very rare

149virginia,

Your gpa, class ranking as well as your SAT I and IIs look very good. Since I do not

know the rigor of your courses, I do not want to mislead you, however if you had
a relatively challenging courseload then you are in a good position.

While your academics are strong, in my opinion your ECs may or may not distinguish

you from other applicants. Your ECs are in line with others, and also clearly indicate academic interest outside the classroom (National Latin Society, Science Olympiads and Math Honor Society). It is, however, difficult to tease out from limited posted information, the quality of leadership opportunities you have had.

Overall, your solid scores, gpa and ranking have you in the running to get in ED.

I believe you have a good chance as long as you take time to write an essay that
gives the Admissions Committee more insight into you as a person. A well thought out
and well written essay will balance your ECS and further increase your chances.
Good luck!
