Strong chance ED.

You’re a solid candidate, as I responded on the Tufts board, but you’ve indicated ED apps to CM and WashU elsewhere (as well as EA to Chicago). You will be a solid ED candidate, but have you really decided, or are you just feeling everyone out on your chances at the various schools? If that’s the case, don’t be guided by what other people think of your ED odds at these schools; go ED at your favorite of the three, because your chances are roughly the same at all of them and you should apply ED only to the place that is truly your fave.
Good luck.

If NU is first choice and you have no financial worries, apply ED. You might not get in RD, but it depends on your rank and the competitiveness of your high school. If your 92 average puts you substantially outside the top 10% of your class, you’re out of luck. Some high schools count anything above 90 as A (and thus 4.0) and some count 90-92 as A- (3.7), so it really varies.

WCASParent - yup, you guessed it. I wrote ED in a couple other college boards because I still haven’t decided, but it’s very close between Northwestern and WashU. Don’t worry, I’m not basing my decision off of collegeconfidential! I just think it’s interesting to see what people say.
(P.S. my school does not rank at all, so i’m not sure about that. however, i do know that i’m outside of the top 10% of my school, as I’m not in Cum Laude.)
