I would love to study at Elon University and I am wondering if I have any chance for acceptance! I have a 3.75 unweighted GPA, and I am ranked 3rd in my very small high school class. I am an early college student entering into college with an associate in arts, and I have a 3.8 college GPA. My test scores are what worry me, because I have a 22. I am taking an ACT prep course this fall, but I expect my score to raise no further than a 25… I am VP of interact club, and student government association for the college portion of my early college, and through those organizations I get around 40 hours of community service each year. Is my test score enough for Elon to deny me?
if u write a good essay you have a shot. the tests scores will get you but the early college is good. apply ed or ea to show interest they care about that
Elon Freshman Class profile:

ACT range is 25 to 29. Elon is not test optional, so yours is low. I do not know Elon views Early College. (I assume you live in NC?) Your best chance is ED, if you need little or no financial aid.
I know someone who got in with credentials similar to yours (except an ACT of 25) by applying Early Decision. The average ACT for this year’s freshman class is 27 so if Elon is your top choice you might want to consider applying ED. If your small class size indicates you are from a rural area that could help, just in terms of geographical diversity. You might want to try taking the SAT as well and see if you do better on that – I hear it’s more language/vocabulary based with less science and math.
