Student reporter for a national newspaper</p>

<p>National Merit Semifinalist, AP Scholar with Distinction (three fives, three fours, gonna take 5 APs this semester, as Physics C is two tests)</p>

<p>School is large public, over 700 per grade. Well known. </p>

<p>Courseload was intense, always took the highest level courses (10 APs including senior year)</p>

<p>as you can tell, I was a lazy bum in sophomore year, but my test scores and junior year helped it a lot, but not enough obviously. I just got rejected from Penn ED (I had legacy) and I'm super worried that I won't get into any college I want to. Please chance me honestly, I want to know my upper bound before I get crushed again. </p>

<p>Applying to Wash St. Louis, Northwestern, Harvey Mudd, CalTech, Georgia Tech perhaps, UCSD/LA/Berkeley and CSU SLO.</p>

<p>Great scores! Being Asian surely hurts. But don’t loose hope. CalTech may be a high reach. Others are okay provided you make a phenomenal personal statement.</p>
