dont listen to him-- you might have a chance for columbia but the fact is that there are 2 many competitive asians w/ your stats/higher and incredible ec's

I'd just like to point out that from 9-10th grade you did 2 clubs, yet you joined 9 clubs last year. There is simply no excuse for that. I don't care if they were just offered junior year, ADCOMs will see that as a huge laundry list. With below average grades, good scores, and complete drop off on ECs:

Columbia University (college): no
UPenn: Wharton: no way
NYU: Stern: 60%
Boston College: Carroll School of Management: yes
Stanford: no way
USC: Marshall/CAS: 70%
UCLA: 60%
UMCP: Smith School of Business: yes
Harvard: no way
Yale: no way

Oh ya, the fact that you took math i and math ii takes you out of the running at schools like harvard that require 3 SAT IIs. Go take another one if you still think you have a shot.

I, too, noticed the over abundance of ECs in the junior & senior year with a lack in the earlier years. If I noticed - you can bet the Adcoms will notice too. Plus, are the "Math Society" and "Chinese Society" actually clubs with meetings, agendas, etc. Looks to me like they are just pats on the back.

I'm with 1MX, though I'd put you in at 75% at NYU.

You're app is great except for two major flaws (your GPA: a byproduct of, I assume, having too many AP courses in one year) and your awards section/ECs (extremely lackluster). Stern is a whole hell of a lot more competitive than the people chancing you have admitted. I think it's a long stretch there too.
