Recommendations
As everyone assumes, they think that their recs are great. I am one of those people, I have good relationships with my teachers, and I hope that my recs reflect that.

Essays
Let's just say I spent my entire winter break editing and revising them:)

For those of you have looked at my original chances thread, you may be wondering why I created a new one. I had about 1,314 views. Most of the posts were from me asking for more chances. So, I have created a new that I have edited to give a better idea of my chances! Complete honest opinion is appreciated. Thanks!

I think you have a pretty good chance. Your grades are okay but the rest is great.

dont sweat about ittt.(:
the interviews couldve affected though, if youre saying they arent that good.

Thanks…I meant the last was soso interview…any1 else?

Are u an international student? Anyway, your ssat score is right at the Andover average which is good, your grades are acceptable, and your EC’s are plentiful. I think that you have a good chance of getting in :)

I’m not international, although i wasnt born in the US :)

Hey! You asked me to chance you, so that is what I shall do. I think your chances are as good as they can get. I just have a few questions though:

Have you received any awards for dance?
What did you write about in your essays? I think admissions committees think that what you chose to write about reflects your overall character and your maturity.

In ballet we don’t really get awards, although getting accepted into summer intensives is very similar. I have gotten awards in girl scouts (obviously).

I really don’t know what type of person they accept anymore…it seems strange. I read the profile of someone that got rejected by andover and deerfield, they seemed like a strong applicant to me. That person’s profile is down here…

they seem more of stats than genuine commitments…idk i have been doing dance for a longggg time.

Yeah it seems so lol. But everyone supposedly has something they’ve been doing for a long time…it’s so hard to set yourself apart from everyone these days.

you are definitely right…well i guess i can’t retort on that…

You honestly have a good chance though. You are perfectly well-rounded. The only things that aren’t EXCEPTIONAL on your resume are your SSAT scores and your grades. And even your SSAT scores are at the level of the average person accepted to these schools and your grades show improvement ------ something the schools adore. I would be surprised if you weren’t accepted.

thx…i wish i could send in my second marking period grades…all As…so far i have had a straight A year

I’d say that you have a very good chance, but who am I to know

candidate, you can send your second marking period grades!! Just call them and fax it over. You have a great chance! :)

ok thx for the info!

whats IMHO,and *** 20% chance!!!11
