Just a list of Schools(Will not apply to all):
University of Minnesota
University of Iowa
University of Pennsylvania
Cornell University
Princeton University
Brown University
MIT
Harvard

BUMP! Please help

Right now University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, Princeton University, Brown University, MIT and Harvard are unrealistic. Your GPA and ACT are too low. Come back when you have your new ACT score…

Agh. Your reading score sure hurt you a lot.

I need your class rank and size to chance you.

UMN: Low match/safety
UIA: Safety
UPenn: Reach
Cornell: Reach
MIT: Reach
Princeton: Reach
Brown: Reach
Harvard: Reach

Then again, the reaches are reaches for just about any applicant.

I’d say the only ones you really match are UMN and UIA. You should pick more schools in your range. Please chance me back- “Chances at UGA or Auburn?”

I’ve got to have me kind of chance??? Also my school’s grading system is an A- = 3.5.

Try University of Minnesota Twins but your Ivy League decisions are really reach schools. Make sure you get your ACT up to 32+

@SuperbBlast You are up against too many people who have 4.0s (at least some of which will have the same grading scale where an A-=3.5) and much higher test scores.

Class rank and size

Bump! I got a 31 on the ACT! 780 SAT II math and 680 SAT II Chemistry.

Now UMN is a safety… but that doesn’t change any of the reaches into even high matches.

What about percent is a reach?

Cornell would probably be ~20%, the other reaches, even lower.

Ahh nooo. What should I work on? I have 5 months I guess.

Minnesota and Iowa your in. Others are going to be a reach, but dont over look Minnesota or Iowa, they are GREAT schools.

Work on a better college list tbh. There are other options that are just as good as ivy that fit more of your range.

I already got accepted to Iowa and Minnesota, both which are good. So I’m probably not going to make another college list.

Those ivies are crazy to even think about with that GPA and that score. That is not the best for one of those schools. I think you have a chance at those big state schools!! Good luck1
