SAT: 2010 (660 CR, 670 Math, 680 Writing)
GPA: 4.0 w ,rank 17/248
6 AP Classes (AP US- 5, AP Lang -5, taking Computer Science, Physics C, Literature and World History this year) + about 5 honors classes.
EC:Theater(7 shows, acted and was part of the creative process). Worked on a film called My Suicide starring David Carradine, has edited films for artists and actors(reels), worked on a show called Camera By Her Side for Seventeen.com, was highlighted by HerUniverse.com to make an example of teen film editors</p>

<p>Aessica - I don’t understand why you’d apply to RPI for film, maybe electronic media, but not acting, film. NYU, USC, etc come to mind for film (from an amateur guess). If you like science/math then maybe consider engineering major and make film a hobby. If you meant electronic media, then RPI is great.</p>
<p>Your stats are decent, you’d have a good chance of getting in if your major matched RPI’s goals.</p>
<p>No, I can definitely can understand that misunderstanding. I want to be a film editor, above all (theater is just a hobby of mine-can’t imagine acting beyond high school). I was interested in the Electronic Media, Arts, and Communication major. Thanks for the input- I’m kinda turned off by the Bachelor of Arts Film Production idea at other schools, which is why RPI is a candidate for me.</p>
