Chance me for 5C's, UC's and East Coast schools!

Hello, College Confidential! I have been lurking on this forum for what seems like months and months, and as I begin my college search process, I would love some insight into my chances for some for my top choice schools. This spring, my family and I will be visiting some of these schools, and I am really just looking for a frame of reference in which to view them all. I am interested in studying physics primarily, or alternatively philosophy, or economics.

Hi there, you’ve got good stats and an impressive profile, so I would say a pretty good chance at all of your schools. As an accepted applicant at Tufts, I would say that the only 5 places that you might have trouble getting in are (Harvey Mudd, CMC, Pomona, Duke, and to some extent, JHU (closer to match)). The rest are low (UCSB) to high matches(Tufts, UC Berkeley) that you’ll probably be accepted to everywhere or almost everywhere. My advice is that you could certainly try ED to one of the five schools I stated above and I’d be betting on you getting into any one of them. You could also wait to RD I would say you would get into 3-4 out of the 5 anyway. gl
